A sad day.

My parents called me tonight and informed me that they had to put Misty to sleep. For those of you who don't know Misty was our dog for about 14 years. She was a German Shepherd/something mix. She was our family's second dog after Dusty, our Chocolate Lab. Misty was a wonderful dog. We never had a single problem with her. She had an enlarged heart and fluid in her lungs, which is why this all happened. The vet said it was Congestive Heart Failure. Which is kind of ironic, cause I didn't know dogs could get that. My grandfather had that as well. Anyway. I don't know what else to say other than she was a great dog and will be greatly missed. This could not have happened at a worse time. Rest in peace, Misty...

Misty was such a great dog. She was always so happy to see everyone when we would go over to your parents.
She will be missed!
Take care!

Sorry to hear about Misty. I didn't even realize she was 14 years old because she was alway so happy and energetic. She was a great pup.

I'm going to miss the dog-sitting days of summer. Misty and I had some sweet times wrestling around, watching TV, and belly scratching. I will never forget the way she took me for walks!! I will miss Misty!!

Hang in there C!

Misty was an AWESOME dog! I loved sneaking treats to her when Dad B. wasn't looking. :)

Maybe someday...you'll have another dog to play with. :)

Corey, I'm so sorry! Losing a pet is such a difficult thing. It sounds like she was a really special dog.

Sorry for your family's loss, it is tough losing a good furry friend. She always loved attacking me in the kitchen when we would come in the house.
